It's all part of the same server issue that prevents system names and discoveries from uploading and downloading consistently. The only bases i'm allowed to warp to are featured bases, space stations and my own. Not sure if just reloading the game or restarting the game makes a difference, but what i do is completely exit the game. My friend and i have been trying to teleport to each other bases, but whenever it starts downloading, it says unable to download base.
It is usually very temporary in. I get this when i try to teleport from my base. My suggestion is to try restarting the game a few times. I have literally never been able to go to one.

Unable to download liveries due to ''error communicating with servers'' bug, downloading tunes work however. It has happened before and will likely happen again. A new standalone app enables players to create and import bases in no man's sky. If it's another player's base, i think it means it's because they're not in the system anymore and therefore their base isn't accessible via teleporter.

I would say it's a good sign that the base computers are. Then click on edit profile. Whenever i use a teleportation terminal, there are a lot of other users' bases. Whenever i select one, it brings up some info, and then says unable to download base. anyone know how to.
